In observance of Veterans Day, Jefferson Performing Arts Society presents a "tour de force" one-man show written by and starring Douglas Taurel, based on real letters from soldiers throughout history, from the American Revolution to Afghanistan. Called "flawless and powerful" by Huffington Post and nominated for an Amnesty International Award, this one-man drama reveals the struggles and bravery of American soldiers at war, as well as reintegrating into civilian society at home. Recommended for ages fifteen and up. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 pm; Sunday at 2 pm. $20–$35. jpas.org.
