New Venture Theatre has opened doors to African Americans interested in acting in the Baton Rouge area and has produced shows highlighting the Black experience in America. Meet the man behind the movement, Artistic Director Greg Williams, Jr.
Then, viewers will see the sculpture installation of large insects created by David Rogers in Columbus, Ohio, before visiting Pennsylvania to meet contemporary art jeweler, Jero Rose Petal Lodge, whose wearable art is unlike anything you’ve seen before. All this and more on this week’s Art Rocks! Friday, January 4 at 8:30 pm and Saturday, January 5 at 5:30 pm.
