Come out for a good CAAWS when the Capital Area Animal Welfare Society opens up for tours of the shelter, hot dogs, refreshments, and giveaways. Opportunities abound to help the creatures of Baton Rouge, whether you work at the shelter, train dogs, facilitate adoptions, foster animals, or work with the society's programs and events. Administrative and maintenance help is needed too. Anyone can pitch in! Learn how from 11 am–4 pm at the CAAWS shelter, 6357 Quinn Drive. caaws.org.
