Chauvin Culture and Heritage Festival

Down in Terrebonne Parish, this two-day festival pays tribute to the area's wonders, with arts & crafts, a jambalaya cook-off, and live performances by Nonc Nu & Da Wild Matouz, Geno Delafosse & French Rockin' Boogie, Side FX, Nashville South, Tet Dur, Ryan Foret & the Foret Tradition, DJ Rhett Comedy Hour, and Moss Point 2.0. Other activities include a pirogue race and Blessing of the Fleet. 10:30 am–10:30 pm Saturday, 11 am–10:30 pm Sunday. 490 Highway 56 at the American Legion.
