Create a Beautiful Life

In a new exhibition by the R.W. Norton Art Gallery, work by regional artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be displayed in Create a Beautiful Life. In collaboration with Holy Angels, an independent nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for differently abled individuals, the Norton gallery hopes to celebrate the unique objects of self-expression created by people often struggle to be understood, and to—as Georgia O'Keefe put it—make "their unknown known."
