Each Summer the Elizabethan Gallery's summer art show showcases art by the talented artists of the Associated Women in the Arts. For the 33rd anniversary this year, the theme is "Blue Skies and Happy Memories," which we could certainly all use. Images of Baton Rouge and other landscapes throughout the South, as well as waterscapes, plant life, and historic architecture will be highlighted in the exhibit via various mediums. Works by Virginia Donner, Kathy Daigle, Kay Wallace, Claire Wilson, Pat Wattam, Kay Lusk, and many other local artists will be included. Select works will be available for sale, as well. The gallery asks kindly that attendees wear masks. A closing reception will be held on Thursday, September 24 from 4-7 pm. Normal hours are 11 am–5:30 pm Monday–Friday, and 11 am–4 pm Saturdays.
