Watch your step on the Rayne Fair Grounds this weekend, since there are bound to be frogs underfoot at this toad-ally awesome festival. When not rooting for their favorite fleet-footed frogs in the racing/jumping contest, festival-goers enjoy great food (including fried frog legs, of course), huge carnival rides, arts and crafts shows, accordion and dance contests, frog cook-offs and frog eating contests, and musical talent including Dominic Ellis, Corey Ledet, Parade Route Party Band. 5 pm–midnight. $5 for adults; free for children twelve and younger. raynefrogfestival.com.
