This isn't your typical Victorian age drama—Theatre Baton Rouge's performance of In the Next Room takes all the propriety of "the prudest age of man" and twists it on its head. Set in the home of a seemingly perfect, well-to-do, and always well-behaved couple and their newborn, this comedy shows what happens when a new device designed to treat "hysteria" in women brings unexpected vibrations into their lives.

Performances will be held Thursday–Saturday nights at 7:30 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2 pm. Tickets are $25, $19 for students. (225) 924-6469. theatrebr.org.
