Josephine Baker was the first African-American international superstar and an icon of the 20th century. This is her story, told in cabaret burlesque style and presented by Banners at McNeese at the Tritico Theatre. The one-woman off-Broadway production, with its live jazz quartet accompaniment, has won six "Best of Fest" and six "Outstanding Performance" awards across the country, as well as scored a nomination for a 2018 AUDELCO Award for Outstanding Solo Performance.
