Late Nite Catechism
Teatro Wego 177 Sala Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70094
Class is in session and for Christ's sake (Lord forgive me), I hope you've done your homework. Come ready to laugh your sins away at the critically acclaimed one-woman interactive comedy Late Nite Catechism, to be performed at Teatro Wego on May 4-5. One of the longest running shows in U.S. theater history, Catholic Explorer described it as "A habit-forming hoot."
As the formidably funny "Sister," New Orleans actress Amanda Hebert (whom you might recognize as Truvy from Steel Magnolias), will take her place once again as a decades-running local and national favorite for the role. Showings will be at 7:30 pm May 4-5, with a 2 pm matinee on Sunday May 6. $20-35. jpas.org
