LSU Vet School Open House

Veterinary medicine is more than just cats and dogs, though the LSU Veterinary School's Open House will have a fair amount of the canine variety. Visitors take a self-guided tour through the world of veterinary medicine with horse and dog breed parades, a petting zoo, and even a "teddy bear repair" station where kids can bring their sick stuffed animals. Anatomy and radiology labs, surgery suites, and more will be available for observation, as well. 9 am–2 pm, free. Donations are welcome. lsu.edu/vetmed.
