Lunchtime Lagniappe: The Roots of Hope

This month's Lunchtime Lagniappe at the Capitol Park Museum invites LSU Professor Dr. Petra Munro Hendry to speak on her research and book, Old South Baton Rouge, The Roots of Hope. This book is the culmination of diligent archival research and over ten years spent acquiring oral histories about the Old South Baton Rouge community, including McKinley High School, the Baton Rouge Bus Boycott, the once-thriving OSBR business corridor, and the numerous churches and civic groups of the neighborhood.
