Lynda Frese: Holy Memories & Earthly Delights

This solo exhibition at the Hilliard museum explores the breadth of Frese's work, in time, in topic, and in media. It includes works from 1978 to 2018, highlighting Frese’s early gelatin silver photograms and experiments made in California 30 years ago—while also tracing a steady trajectory of her continued interest in the human form. The show features early formal experiments created in the darkroom, collages and later mixed-media artworks that incorporate egg tempera and organic elements such as plants and insect parts, and a varied range of photographic approached. hilliard.org.

Kick off Women’s History Month with local artist Lynda Frese. She will share a gallery tour of her solo exhibition, Holy Memories & Earthly Delights. Presented in partnership with UL Press, the talk will be followed by a book signing of Frese’s new monograph.
