Billed as "the soirée of the summer," the Ogden Museum of Southern Art's annual Magnolia Ball celebrates the Center for Southern Craft and Design. Taking place at the Ogden's stunning building on Camp Street, this year's ball will draw on the style of Dusti Bongé's Piercing the Inner Wall exhibition, bringing to life his surrealist "Circus Series for a night of wonder and mischief. Not to mention music from New Orlean's top musicians and DJs, circus performers, complimentary cuisine and desserts, full bars offering complimentary cocktails, a silent auction featuring remarkable works of art, and a dance party, of course. 9 pm–midnight. $75–$250. ogdenmuseum.org.
