For our March offering, join Country Roads at Maison Madeleine, a historic B&B nestled on the on the shores of gorgeous Lake Martin deep in Acadiana.
Chefs Cody and Samantha Carroll, stars of the new TV show Cajun Aces and our own Small Town Chefs Awards alums (we knew them when!), will provide a multi-course feast, and representatives of Audubon Louisiana will guide guests through some of the finer points of wading bird-appreciation in one of the area's best rookeries. Guests can expect to see herons, egrets, cormorants, and the Roseate Spoonbill (or "Cajun flamingo"), as these birds prepare to nest and rear the next generation of winged wonders.

Boating tours of Lake Martin, guided by two Audubon Louisiana experts, will begin at 3:45pm for an additional $15. Please select a "Boating Tour" ticket in addition to a General Admission ticket. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm; dinner is served at 6:30. Attire is spring Sunday stylish (keep in mind you might be on an open boat touring the rookery!)
