The Hilliard Art Museum is opening its doors to little ones for a fun-filled day of artmaking inspired by the animal-themed artworks currently on view in the Museum's Summer Exhibition. There will be an animal print scavenger hunt in the exhibition Twenty Years of Marais Press: Imprinting a Campus and Collection, and an opportunity to make your own prints with animal track stamps. Or, check out Trevor Gould’s life-size sculpture of a Cape buffalo and create tin foil animal sculptures. Acadiana Master Naturalists will present fascinating nature facts,Lafayette Parish Public Library will host a story time, and a movement activity will be offered with Acadiana Center for the Arts.
