Spring Garden and Pet Show

Is there anything in this world that brings more joy into our lives than gardens and pets? We can't think of much. This April, both will be celebrated when the LSU AgCenter, Louisiana Master Gardeners, and St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter bring the 2nd annual Spring Garden and Pet Show to Destrehan Plantation. Besides educational seminars about plants, trees, wildlife, and pet care, the show will feature plant nursery and craft vendors, rescue pets available for adoption, live music, spring specialty cocktails, children's activities and demonstrations, and more. And, it's pet friendly—bring your furry bestie, as long as they're on a leash or in a stroller/carrier. 10 am–4 pm. destrehanplantation.org.
