During World War II, artist, novelist, and historian Tom Lea traveled 100,000 miles as an artist correspondent for LIFE magazine and a muralist for the WPA. In conjunction with his special exhibition at the Hilliard Art Museum titled Tom Lea, Life and World War II, the Hilliard is hosting a half-day symposium in partnership with the National World War II Museum. 9 am–noon.
