Western Ranch Horse Competition

The Louisiana Stock Horse Association will mosey up to New Roads today for one of its signature Western Ranch Horse competitions, featuring eighty to one hundred stock horses of various breeds from Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas vying for various year-end prizes. Different events include cutting individual cattle out of a herd; working/herding a cow individually; ranch trail obstacle course; reined horse pattern; and ranch working pleasure horse.
