Williams Research Center Symposium

Whether you're a New Orleans local or visiting for the first time, see the French Quarter as you've never seen it before! The 2019 Williams Research Center Symposium presented by The Historic New Orleans Collection will focus on the intriguing history of the city's oldest and most famous neighborhood, exploring the history of the original city of New Orleans and the Quarter through various lenses, including visual, social, and commercial angles. These talks are a great chance to deepen your appreciation of the city as well as celebrate the opening in 2019 of a series of galleries devoted to the history of the French Quarter, part of an exciting expansion of THNOC.
