• The Lily - Choreographed by Emelia Perkins to music by Ezio Bosso, The Lily was inspired by the publication of the same name, created by Amelia Bloomer during the Women's Suffrage movement. This newspaper was the first published by a woman and devoted to women's issues including the rights to vote, own property, and wear pants. This piece of choreography utilizes strong yet subtle feminine movement that is both inspirational and pleasing to watch.
• Silent Sentinels - Choreographed by Giulia Fedelia Barker to music by Ludovico Einaudi, Silent Sentinels is inspired by the tireless group of protestors who, despite harrassment, arrests, and abuse, stood in front of the White House for two and a half years to remind President Woodrow Wilson of his lack of support for women's suffrage. This piece with movement and music that is riveting and sometimes haunting, reminds us that we are never alone in our struggles.
• The Parable - Choreographed by Bethany Jones McCullough to music by Shana Blake Hill, The Parable is inspired by the parable of the ten virgins who await the coming of a bridegroom in the Gospel of Matthew. The five wise virgins, who are prepared with enough oil for the night, remind us to be ready for whatever may come and to be one of those who can shine light to the world.
