At the Pollination Celebration at the LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station, learn about our native pollinators and ways to attract them from many expert speakers and hands-on presentations. Children can construct hummingbird feeders and mason-bee houses. Watch banding of hummingbirds; taste various honeys. Guided walking and wagon tours of the Station’s extensive, beautiful flower beds and plantings busy with many species of butterflies, bees, and moths.
