The Horrors of Being a Woman"

Serving as an unofficial audition for filmmakers interested in having their work shown at Cité des Arts annual Southern Gothic Film Festival in the spring—"The Horrors of Being a Woman" presents a series of submitted short films, as well performances of spoken word and poetry, and displays of visual arts. At the end of the event, the audience will vote for their favorite film and artwork, and winners will receive an award, plus two free passes to next year's Southern Gothic Film Festival. 5 pm–10 pm. $20. citedesarts.org.
